Agreed. Catch that little (frank)er and let family members of all the victims take turns kicking him in the nuts. |

Can't really cancel it altogether when you're so close to Montreal, you need those points.
And I say 'you' because I know your Ron Mexico, not sure why you have this alt and the Pens listed as your team... |

I just have a feeling they are just going to blast this moron as soon as he pops his head out. I want answers from this coward.
Hockey is the last thing Boston is worried about right now. |

Now I know why the Penguins recalled Macintyre. Going to lend him to the Boston Police Department tonight for some "questioning".
I hope they catch him alive. |

I cant see how they would play with this guy still on the loose and all these reports coming out, false or not, about the explosives found around the city.
Boston is going to have to bring in massive amounts of trained bomb squad members to fine tooh comb that city. |

Yeah, at this point, there is no way the game is happening.
It will be interesting to see what happens with the game, or if it's even rescheduled. |

Given the tight race for the Northeast the 2 points are pivitol, I would think they would have to play it at some point...not tonight. Push the playoffs back a day or 2. Or the Pens could hand a gesture to the Bruins and forfiet under the circumstances. |

The game shouldn't happen tonight, obviously but I was looking forward to the first back to back Friday/Saturday night Penguin games that there have been this season. |

Honestly, if the game is canceled tonight by the time it is re-scheduled it will be meaningless for the Penguins. Pens need a 4pt swing over Boston (ie, Pens win 4 pts, Boston fails to earn 4pts, or a mix of the two) & 1st in the East is locked up. Boston would likely end up playing more of the Pens AHL line-up than anything else.
With the Blackhawks up 4pts w/ a game in hand, Pens likely can't win Presidents trophy either. |

It isn't about the Penguins, it is about who win the Northeast Division. |

This is a big game in the NE division tho, and it almost certainly needs to be played at some point in the future |

Hard to imagine it will. I'm surprised the NHL hasn't made the call already.
Can you see it: "Hey..thanks for spending most of the night and all day chasing this scumbag around. Now that they're both dead, I need 50 volunteers to provide security tonight for the Penguins/Bruins game," said the CoP.
Never mind the fact that, logistically, the arena workers probably won't be able to get there in good order. The city is going to be a total charlie foxtrot as soon as the lock down is lifted. And while the Penguins team could walk to the arena from their downtown hotel, what of the Bruins players who come from all over the city to play?
Playing under today's conditions would be a logistical nightmare |

I'm just saying that if the game is delayed the Penguins will have zero reason to bring their 'A' game. If the Pens have everything wrapped up they are more likely to rest key players (ie, Letang, Malkin, ect...) and let bottom-6 players have significant minutes (ie, Engelland play +20min that night while Orpik plays ~9min). A delay could give the Bruins a huge advantage becuase the game would essentially be meaningless to the Pens, but still meaningful to the Bruins and Habs.

cancel the game, no points are awarded, pens & bruins end up with a game in hand, and they have the tie-breakers for the president's trophy and ne division champ, respectively. there's no way they're playing tonight. |
